Hi, and thank you for visiting my website. My name is Kim and I live in sunny Tampa, FL along with my husband, son, 2 dogs and a cat. I have always had a fascination with art glass. I love the feel of a beautiful glass art pendant around my neck. So smooth and cool to the touch. I call them my worry stones, rubbing them calms me. While surfing the net one day - I came across a site where you could buy supplies and instructions on how to make glass art beads. Needless to say, after that first art glass bead I was "hooked". I still have that first glass bead, as ugly as it is, I cherish it. From glass bead making I began to explore other realms of glass. Lampworking, stained, mosaic and finally my passion kiln-forming. Taking a blank sheet of glass and layering other glass and inclusions - working in 1600 degree heat and manipulating the molten glass into what you want Perhaps I should say what the glass wants, as glass has a mind of it's own and never ceases to amaze me - it more or less tells you what it wants to be. In every piece of glass art I make a little piece of my hear, soul and DNA can be found. Inspiration for my art glass pieces come from everywhere. Sunny or rainy day, moods and music all play a part in the creation.
